How much do part-time, live-in and live-out nannies make? Part-time, typically you pay by the hour, anywhere from $8.00-$12.00/hour. Live-In from $270.00 to $350.00/week, and Live-Out from $300 to $450.00/week (all amounts vary depending on the nanny and the family situation.) When should I review the nanny salary? It depends on the starting salary. Some families review at three months, if the starting salary was low, some at six months and if you started the nanny at a high dollar amount, a year is good. How much do I increase the salary at the review? Again it depends on the starting salary. Usually customary is 5 per cent.
